Yellow butterflies

I keep seeing yellow butterflies;
They flutter by in my back yard;
In uncut grasses,
They flutter by.

I'm drawn to yellow butterflies,
Fluttering in my backyard;
They appear out of nowhere,
They flutter by.

I've seen feathers when I nature walk;
I took one and kept it;
I didn't know why,
I took it home with me.

I've felt soft touches on my shoulder;
I've see shadows in corner of my eye;
I've heard taps, knocks and soft voices;
I have no fear.

Queen

Soft and petite
U would mistake her for weak
She is half woman half god
Dutifully wearing her crown, king
When life visits her in form of red fluid and pain
She knows even in that there is life to gain
A home,queen,girl she is all of these
If somehow u forgot that, remember this

Life

Life

Life is good.
It is all a perspective,
The world is full of people who want to hurt you.
But it's also full of people who want to love you.
The world is full of drugs.
But it's also full of marvelous works of art thanks to those drugs.
The world is filled with shitty ass movies like The Happening.
But it's also filled with tremendous movies like Fight Club.

The Way Fall Came

First the wind of Fall was soft
Not strong at all, but just enough
To tell the birds to go

It trickled in like coming rain
Did not suffice to drink the plants
But just enough to sow

First the wind of Fall was soft
Yet soon it was a whole new gust
That rustled every bough

First the wind of Fall was soft
And though it was the way it came
The Fall is Winter now...

Driving in daylight

I can't recall how long it is
Since I drove home amongst the light
Plucked out like candyfloss, crimson
Golden stacked up height
The sun breached full the place
known only by its dark left look,
And broke among the parting clouds
Like crowds do for a tender flock,
And ignited the strands of vapour
That wait for its grand encore daily

Senyru Life

It's been a long road
Wrangling earth challenges
Time to spread my wings. (Barbara)

To wander in places new,
I will keep looking for you. (Ian)

Angels everywhere
Guard my path of consciousness
A more perfect earth (Barbara)

and in your light, I am me
let my heart and soul be free (Dooreen)

There in a moment
Entangled, yet both are free
You, you, and me, me. (Ian)

Upanishads Revisited

Karma, she kept repeating it like a mantra.
Karma, as she scooped her children out of the car.
Karma, as she stuck a gifted parking ticket on the dash.
K a r m a as she pressed her face against my window
and hissed the word at eye level.
I looked at her pale, slightly pock marked face,
her features seeping into my skin through the glass,
tainting me with her conviction.
Pinned to my seat by the weight of her surety
her malevolence snarls and glares.
The bubbling cauldron within
finally propels her away,

Breathless (senryu)

...drowning in deep love
breathless anticipation
suspended in hope.

Matrimony

Plans for a better marriage
Imagine having a miscarriage

This is hard I have you my life
You failed to be a wife
I never wanted you to be one
You just stabbed us with a knife
I made arrangements
All the arguments .....
They were to build us
You stole that away from me
All I got now it just memories
I... I... I can't even tell stories

You and the night

There's something about the night
it brings darkness that allows you see
silence that helps you hear

There's something about the night
that sets you on a high
you can almost touch the sky

There's something about the night
that shields
no insecurities, no fears, no rules.

Just you and the night.
