A Triolet For You

For you my gardens thrive and bloom,
to send their perfumes all your way.
To weave the heaven's beauts on loom,
for you my gardens thrive and bloom.
The sunrise shines to glint the gloom,
and casts its rays on plots I lay.
For you my gardens thrive and bloom,
to send their perfumes all your way.

Nameless Fiend

I am standing at the cliff's edge
as I look out to the sea;
waves crash on a nameless shoreline
stirred up by a nameless wind.

In my spirit I am pounding,
filled with dread anticipation.
Something in the air is stirring-
portent of a nameless fiend.

I can feel her fiery breathing
and can see her charming eyes.
I am incapacitated
by the shadow of her being.

She's the mother of confusion,
the enchantress of despair;
keeper of a flock of sorrows,
goat-herd of a thousand fears.

Little Things

It's little things that make my day,
like a grandchilds big warm smile.
That makes my anger go away,
and makes everything worth while.

It's little things like great big hugs,
that means so much to me.
And life just fits together,
like a ship out on the sea.

sitting on my front porch,
watching everyone walk by.
Or watching a bald eagle,
flying high up in the sky.

Strolling through the woods,
on a real warm summer day.
Watching all the animals,
while their eating or at play.

autumns come and go

your voice beckons me now
to my backyard, in Canada
where each autumn
I compose a poem

the leaves of yore since forgotten
trampled by winds crushing speed
up into the air leaves are blown
high above the trees
where beyond ,
they could never have reached,
ere there had been no autumn…

the colours manifests on my mind’s wire
as I see myriads of them
my drooping eyes admire

Life In The Fatfood Lane...

Corpulence rolling out the super-marts
riding, pushed in the shopping carts

Extra-large fast food meals
$3.99... such big fat deals

Diet sodas and mounds of fries
stomachs distend, big as eyes

Doggy bags from Chinese buffets
there’s veggie-bars here to graze

Plates are full, drinks are brimming
dishes of meat in gravy swimming

O.K. Corral and Fatback Freddie’s
stuffed with people wearing pantie-wedgies

What a sight, cows chowing and chewing
dressed in spandex, excited mooing

The Dark Room

The dark room

The darkness closed about my form
In think, there were my fellow travellers
They closed the spaces between our ways
A common bond let feelings flow.

We tried to think of things
Something you all should know
All things became muddled
As many wanted their way to go

Then peace took over,
Where pure thought could rule
Tell them, tell them, they need to know
Though it is not for us to say.

...J U P I T E R . . . . . ./

rise mirth day behind the vault of cold
\blow winds of snow kissed tears

I embrace thee
beyond the Dead End signs
and trails where the pavement
dwindles

Jupiter

beauty!!

I love thee

ONE MORE AUTUMN

I await the coming frosts of fall
having tired of summer's heat.
I long to hear coyote's call
and the crunch of running cloven feet.

Let me see the woods ablaze,
trees colored with the shades of fire
as leaves announce their final days
and greens fade as their times expire.

I yearn to hear trumpeting fowl
flying south in shifting vees,
the evening call of a barred owl
drifting on a slight cool breeze.

ain't Loved a poet!

am I not a poet!
if you see by the side of the site
they display….
so many poetry's of mine are highlighted..

it’s not that no one knows me,
it’s sad I know no one ...

I’m just a small time poet
out of maybe over ten thousand
maybe more or less …
sad I didn't know any...

having composed over ?000 poems all over
that today was poetry day in UK....
how I wish I had known
and
upon the souls of celebrities
they call Stars
my actorial kind of poetry
I'd display…

As God Created my Own Desire

" God moves in a way my thoughts couldn't fathom...
just one thing I know is that in every wish my heart desire
in every love my dream have written
in every tear from eyes have crafted

from every joy and love I've experienced
He's the reasons of it....
from all hatred once in my heart stayed
He washed even my guilt

as God created my own desire
He also created the trials I must face"
