conduit

empty canvas
screams silence
the nightmare of nothing

fractured fear
spirals
to a bubble of imperfection
where autumns pretend to be spring
and summers cry with winter warmth

half animal
half angel
half lost

becoming
somewhere
on the road to nowhere

but there are times
a vivid forever
sounds in my head

.. a husky deep acknowledgement

and, for a short while
there exists serenity

ALICE

ALICE

Through the looking glass
like Alice I did step
searching for my Innocence
in a child cuddling in a crib
looking for the magic of a soul
that knew no sin
holding on to myself
when I was three
hoping he will release the terror
within this old man
taking my hand
while we walk together
into the dark unknown
for all that I was will end
with me.

God have pity on my soul.

Love

Something that beats no more
It's always crushed and thrown to the floor
Salty tears swell the eyes
Indicating a terrible cry
No longer feeling love nor pain
Living my life in sorrow and vain
Always ending with a final goodbye
Love is something, that'll without fail, die

Franklin Square

Franklin Square.

I love to wake in the damp air of Franklin Square,
Watching those irreverent, inverted pissing geisers
Plummet on the great Man, in broad daylight streams

Lost in the ice, what would he give?
For such temperate relief as this.
I breathe in the moisture and look up at the sky of polarized dreams.

All is well, and I fill in the day, with the great slanted colour of rain,
I don’t care if the wind is wild in St David’s park
And sidelong blows, lead trees gracefully astray

NAKED BRUNCH

Loveless
the walls are an angry oil
with stubs where the photos
hung by tenants long strung
down their roads
Like the grey poles
that hold the thin wires
that moan in the winds
hot and tinged

A fan crawls fast the air
blowing on our emptiness
unashamed uncaring
Down the half mile
a frieght bawls
in the steamy distance

Static so bad on the
scavenged set
I can barely make them
out
beer propped sweating
on a thigh..

Sacked quarterback

Feeling dumped is as a sacked quarterback
Losing the race of life as a missed touchdown
Joy slowed, entrenched in sadness
Spirit of joy stalled, losing a game yours to win.

None to blame but you your self when all is lost in love and war
Decisions are yours in an imperfect world that's strained.
Much self importance and superiority destroys life
and embrace death of insignificant inferior lessors.

Water Me Down

Water me down
I’ve had enough
Try ECT
Or the chemical stuff

Part my hair
Strip my gown
Twist my wrists
And toast the town

String me up
To swing me round
Shape me square
And water me down

Punch a hole
Then stitch it up
Throw a stone
In the beggars cup

Clip my wings
Make me stare
Put a pencil in my mouth
I write on air

When all's laid bare
To the human eye
No help to spy
The well turned lie

hear I come again!

HERE I COME AGAIN
hear I come again!
you compose it
on my behalf
and
I will stamp it fast

I only know you do read
and
only you remain agreed
that my poetry does breed

but alas as Jess says
legs up in the air
come and read me,
if you can't come in
at least cum....
he does mean

and

now he is our poetry chef,
I can't or dare not take liberties
ere he mixes chillies
and
rum in my wine
and cuisine

but so be it

LOVE

I AM SOMETHING
MANY DONT KNOW ME
I AM IN SOMEONE
MANY TRY TO HAVE ME

A FEELING I AM DEFINED AS SUCH
BUT ONLY NOW NOT KNOWN
THE CENTUARRY CHANGES
DAYS GO BY
HOURS DRIFT AWAY
MINUETS BECOME SECONDS
BUT I STAY THE SAME

HATE IS JUST MY OPPOSITE
WITH HATE THERES NO ME
YOU CANT HAVE ME
JUST NOT YET

THE YOUTH ENJOY ME AND FIGHT
THE OLD BRING KIDS
IM THE WOND OF A WOMAN
I CONECT MANY
I BOND VERRY FUN

A little secret

There's something I must tell you
Don't worry about a lie because it's true
You know that smile I always wear?
It's not real because in my heart there's been a tear
Do you know that laugh I always use?
I use it because your words are abuse
You know my favorite sweater?
I don't use it for the weather
The scars that I hide?
They wash away with the tide
The pain that I feel?
It's nothing but real
Now that I've been sucked into the darkness
