Dear Jess
Your critique was as sandpaper.
smoothing my poetry's jagged edges
so that they might emerge better than ever;
In your ruthlessness, I saw true kindness.
You laid my valued works in your furnace,
though its raging flame burned my fame,
but each came out purer, more of a masterpiece;
mending my scorched glory and fixing my shame.
They have been tempered, and now shine like gold;
and your splendorous unquenchable light,
of nobility will always be my foothold
on my pathway to the literary height
You were as a real adversary
while polishing my artistry.

"Jess, I think I am in absolute agreement with that; that as a poet you are unavoidably bound to reveal your rather hidden self through your poems unknowingly no matter how hard you try to conceal your inner self ." -

About Me
I am a graduate of mechanical engineering, with a great passion for creativity.
I was mandated to read books always by my parents, brothers and teachers at my primary school level especially, which animated a strong passion for creativity in me.
I have never had a mentor once though but a couple of literary giants who I passionately admire. Amongst them are Akinwande Olowole Babatunde Soyinka, William Shakespeare. William Shakespeare is infact the first writer I ever knew and my fancy for him was birthed after I was selected to feature in a drama from one of his novels"Merchant Of Venice " during my primary six graduation ceremony, where I acted as Antonio the influential noble man of Venice.
I am a lover of peace and wishes to actualize a dream of using my works to advocate for peace, unity and equity.
