Voiceless
Her voice was like the Angel's melody
That could heal the heart's malady.
How jealous were the seraphims
While concealing their darkness through their whims.
A peach that promises eternity
Was sent in her chamber with utmost secrecy.
Delighted for such a gift of immortality,
She ate the Seed that rooted her endless melancholy.
Unable to sing, she watched the dawning of the day
And cursed all the Angels with words she couldn't say...

Hello,
Nice to meet you! I love dark poetry. Your title is intriguing and your style is easy to read. My favorite lines are:
Delighted for such a gift of immortality,
She ate the Seed that rooted her endless melancholy.
Unable to sing, she watched the dawning of the day
And cursed all the Angels with words she couldn't say...
always, Cat

It takes me awhile to comment on new works
Ive read three and find this one the most startling for me
An american in Idaho lent me books while on a trip
and while my sisters family and brother in law sat
around the campfire on the pacific Mount Ranier beamed
against the night still bathed in rays beneath the sea
the clever teachings and word use of this poem is
delicate and yet forceful in its lessons
I love the last lines!
seraphims and angels!!
