Lost Love

By: Alex Tanner

Should I recall those blissful times
When we like climbing flowers entwined;
Our blossoms scented evenings air
As Love and Lust forsook our cares.

Your laugh was soft and gentle,
A butterflies wings in spring,
Dancing on the sunbeams
Enough to make me sing.

Eyes so bright they sparkled
Diamonds on moonlit snow;
Flashing hither and thither
To make my pulse race so.

We held each other gentle
Yet tight so not to break,
Though deep, our love could never last,
Different paths our lives would take.

For fleeting months we tarried,
Each time we met we knew
This may be the last time
For lovers hours are few.

If I love ten thousand women
Tis you I will recall;
You gave yourself so willing,
For your passion I did fall.

On black nights as the wind howls,
As I lie in a bed so cold,
Your soft voice echoes 'cross the years
To warm my lonely soul.

Thoughts from the bath

Many learned souls
pontificate on high.
They scratch their heads and ask themselves
what happens when we die?

But despite all the wrangling
and all the questions asked,
it's something we won't know for sure
until we've breathed our last.

The Other Dimension

I have spent my hole life dreaming of a life better
than this one. But with every dream comes a different
world, a different universe,a different dimension. It's
a place not of peace but of adventure. You are
always running from something you are raised to know to run from.
And I call this heaven because you
never get attached to people or things,
so almost no heart break, and you
never have to run away from home
because you're always running.

The Final Version of Loved//// Neo's (maiden)Sonnet

Let’s Sonetize our Love

O beautiful woman I see every day
striding about the Garden of Eden
Singing a song of our maiden foreplay
like two sincere hearts honest and even.

But then your smiles of hallelujah, lullaby
bring to my deaf ears a sound for a while
You seem to say Dear Lover let’s fly
into the darkest corners where only heavens smile.

My desires you seem to know in advance
as I sing about you and then hold on.
Sincerely you love dance and romance
I have to render a hand before you are gone

loneness

Loneness is the silence
Within a word
The validation of
Friendship and I love you
Are syllables of a silence yarn?

A forlornness heart
Bleeds with silence for the syllables
unheard

Soul mate - (a minute poem) with spoken word

https://soundcloud.com/rula68/soul-mate-a-minute-poem

I let my feelings once go free,
and flee to be,
like autumn's breeze,
that flows in ease,

and have my heart to go that far,
above the star,
but you'd surprise
(I tell no lies)

I found it there, where you have been,
as loving hearts are meant to twin,
and have their fill
of love and thrill.

The Feeling Of A Memory

I'm going through my day when I randomly
get extreme Deja vu out of no where, and a
weird feeling. The weird feeling I can only
describe as a fast roller-coaster going 90
degrees down. I can't pin point what exactly
brought on that feeling and Deja vu,
until I hear it again. My friend is mumbling
something that sound polish. The only
polish thing I've ever heard was from a
movie I watched when I was a child.
The word it sounded like he said was
"nie moge"

Masquerade

Once in my life,
when maturity had yet to bloom,
I found myself searching
for the perfect identity
to wear.

I painted a colourful mask
to hide my flaws and lackings
but my heart knew no peace
for I knew I was lying.

My soul was trapped,
imprisoned by the shell of self.
I was surrounded by people
and yet I'd never been more lonely.

Unhappiness,
it was my constant shadow.
Slowly, despair showed its face
when others left me
once they'd seen through the mask.
