The Feeling Of A Memory

I'm going through my day when I randomly
get extreme Deja vu out of no where, and a
weird feeling. The weird feeling I can only
describe as a fast roller-coaster going 90
degrees down. I can't pin point what exactly
brought on that feeling and Deja vu,
until I hear it again. My friend is mumbling
something that sound polish. The only
polish thing I've ever heard was from a
movie I watched when I was a child.
The word it sounded like he said was
"nie moge"

It's weird the emotion that a word, let alone
a memory, can cause. I wanted to swoon
in the middle of my class, I wanted to cry,
I wanted to scream at him to repeat it
so I can feel that sensation again, but still I
didn't. I didn't want him to say it again because
I want that feeling to be special. So, if I hear
it over, and over, and over, again, then
that feeling might not always be there.
I can't risk loosing the feeling of a memory.

I like almost everything about memories, maybe because I can't draw back and write about many of them, but you make it look like an effortless process. However, I thought this reads more like prose rather than poetry. I mean the imagery is there, but it lacks the music that poetry should have.
Just what I thought.
