Dandelions

Bloom like the dandelions
Under the autumn veil.

Dance and be vibrant
Like the petals of the sun;
Soft and graceful
Like the wind.

Twirl and soar
Like a beguiling oriole,
Perching on a spring branch.

Last few words:
It's been more than a year and life has kept me busy. During the short moment of inspiration, I tried to write and before I knew it, my unfinished poems have piled up. A short poem and will try to be back on track. A glimpse of my thoughts here and there.

you have used language like music. above all, that is poetry. The last stanza is really wonderful. Just glides off the tongue.

Just one comment- around me and I think most places, dandelions bloom in spring.... I'm not sure of the second line...

I'd rather learn from one bird how to sing
than teach ten thousand stars how not to dance

Hi, just some suggestions to take or toss. I think it shows more this way. Lovely poem, really enjoy the colours, the imagery. We're in Autumn in Argentine Patagonia, with a long winter ahead. Don't know when we'll be able to go out. Only foreigners have been quarantined, so, hopefully, we may be free in April.

Bloom dandelions
under autumn veils.

Dance and be vibrant
petals under the sun.
Soft and graceful
in the wind.

Twirl and soar
a beguiling oriole,
perching on spring branches.

Don't know why my name got in there. I have trouble moving up and down when commenting.
