I live in a world

I live in a world where everyone's sleeping
Perpetually dreaming that they are awake
Enchanted beneath a deep illusion
That they hold freedom for freedoms sake
Hooked on millions of tiny machines
Never seeing what's really here
A future that no man could of forseen
A future no man could ever hold dear
And then there are those who see the beauty
The sunsets, oceans and towering skies
Aware to one heartbreaking reality
Aware to this race's sad demise

Outside the Realm

Outside the Realm by RW

these cloth wrapped feet shuffle on the king's road

eyes ever watchful, I jump at a toad

fear stands implicit, for those who by birth

not blessed a noble nor with courtly worth

the nights gripping fingers, witchy cold claws

near the inn quietly breaking all laws

my back against wood and mortar to warm

numbers of knights to my inn they will swarm

if I make a sound,a horse thief or worse

my neck in course noose they can't reimburse

Dear Devon (and Various Others)

I am so sorry I broke up with you because I'm gay.
I feel like no one deserves that.

dear tiha
I wish we were closer.
maybe we still would be if I was never banned from neo.

dear dad
thanks for understanding my problems with mom.
but no thanks for being a butt sometimes.

dear mom
I understand that you don't get my passions and you don't like my music.
you don't have to.
you just have to try to accept it.

Seeding a newer generation

Friends of friends
Stan and Loved
you are friendless
we all are with you
Stan the man
sorry state of affairs
I had to read your poetry twice
after your well deserved retort
it’s good

really their spawn
should not be spread like fish do
humans are more sacred
we all know
and must know
as well as accept it to

and
so happy continuation
of a worthwhile generation to all humans
thanks for not calling me a dunce
others would

Your words mean more, I know the score
You spoke to me of love and trust,
Then took my heart and made it burst
It hurt me so, It hurt me so

Now can you talk to me of love?
We both now know that love will die,
If trust of each is built on lies
I need to know, I need to know

I will await your words in truth
We need to work for better days
In that our love is safe always.
A truth is told, a truth is told

My thoughts(at the moment) on Fear

Captivated by the all-consuming
constant Fear of what is not a
controllable aspect of life ...

Sporadic thoughts delve
deep into the drastic measures
which might just save my life,
~As I Know It Now~

Justifying hypnotic paranoia
by All Means Necessary
until satisfaction
reigns Dominant
~Just For A Moment~
relishing the Fear
that holds me
Tight

I swallow the Impulse
To Fight ~ To Run ~

Full Time Employment

Cool wind blows over frozen ground
across a cemetary plot on the outskirts of town.
Tombstones pose in their stone carved silence
while flowers lay dead in twisted plastic violence.

A moon casted light--creates ghoulish shadows,
death hangs around like a rope on the gallows.
Humped up dirt from the bowels of the earth,
covers the deceased who'd been dying since birth.

Longing

I stand there, looking onwards
The grass twirls, dances at my feet
The grey clouds, wait patiently in silence
Not approaching, merely there
A prelude, to a time yet to arrive
The cool wind, promises rain
Onwards lies, a distant fireplace
A place to rest, my weary eyes
A quiet river, softly serenades
It's running water, an orphic turquoise blue
I stand there, breathing deeply
Tears cascade, crawling down
Feelings bubble, a new completion
I found the place, I can call home

In Time...

Relaxing in the sun
catching up times so long ago
Wondering where the years have gone
Does anybody know?

Haven't seen your face
a decade has gone by
“My, how the time does race”
is spoken with a sigh

Sitting on the sidelines
though I'm noticed now and then
included in the times
Memories of back when

See all the the welcome smiles
My mind is such a traitor
Photos taken erase the miles
I'll have them all for later

my child!

Only drips one two three
and so many more
help bring an invaluable child

God has been kind
only women get pregnant
if men could have been
none would know
how many have been....
brought to this small world
to increase a mass population,
in countries like yours
where lives are being governed
only by robots and automation

God's smaller mercy's be praised
and you Scribbler are kind..
