Writer's Block 'with audio'

Searching for understanding
Mind's eye loses focus
Clear picture once beheld
Poetic thoughts burned out

Words of choice once freer
Oppressed by life daily stresses
Memories etched on lone hearts
Blank pages bear no poetry

Love the phrase "minds eye looses focus" and "poetic thoughts burned out". So true. And life's stresses can stifle inspiration - how frustrating it is. Sometimes the words flow like a never ending river. Other time the thoughts are dammed up and the water stagnates. Many poets will relate to your cleverly worded poem.

Love Mand xxxxx

It took a lot of thought to come up with clever words that work for this piece. Thanks for reading and sharing.

Loved the write, and as Mand says the flow is fine..
One thing is it a typo to put Looses as opposed to Loses.
I have looked at both:-
Looses is when you let something go.
Loses is when something is lost.
Your call, lol, take care and know we are out here,
Yours Ian.T
PS:- Have listened to your audio, what a beautiful sound, your voice was as I had expected it to be. the words flew away as you spoke.
Here in the UK we rarely hear these accents on words and flows of sound, great spoken word, yours, Ian

.
There are a million reasons to believe in yourself,
So find more reasons to believe in others..

Glad you brought this up. I struggle with the word for this line. Wasn't sure looses or loses. After your defining. I think loses is more accurate. Thanks for reading and sharing.

I like how you expressed writer's block. I can easily relate to this at the time being. Just hope this is fictional or if it is personal, that it would end sooner.

Minds eye....Mind's eye?

It's fictional for me at this time, but I have had momentary writer's block in the past. But fought through it writing lots of crap I hadn't and won't submit. Hope yours end sooner also. Thanks for the suggestion, mind's eye it is.

experience a writer’s block ….we feel so much inferior…to our selves then ….as one reads another …we feel their vibrations
and in tune commence to vibrate ….our mind once again commences to oscillate ….rotate …as heart palpitates ….

then we like dogs let loose our tongues …. some turmoil …some emotion has well begun …
the writer’s block does erase …
how it does one amaze
out pours glow …like the rivers flow
words come out as you know …from nowhere…

that's how I could compose ten poetries a day ….till Neopoets took my inner inbuilt natural capacity away ….
how I wish we could say …what we wanted
in more than a single way …alas with no power to say
Neopoets don't now read anyway

so writers block does very well stay
I wish you all pray and reinstate the stream …as limitless...
if only one can have some say….
Today!

loved

I think this google drive is very complicated . For both of your poems it gave a message that I need to wait for the author's permission to reach the file. I think you need to approve every request you get in your email then we can listen to your audio. I believe that vocaroo is less complicated.

Vocoroo is simpler but It's not compatible with my iPad and iPhone yet.
I've been working with Beau to fix the sharing.
I think I got it. You should be able to listen now.
