Where's The Beef?...

Act one
Sir Gee sits upon his horse looking down on his brother Killer.
The horse stamps nervously, wide eyed and nostrils flaring.

Killer speaks:
“If that horse treads on these filets; he will find himself
invited to be dinner, Gee.”

“Don't you mean invited to dinner, brother?” Says; Sir Gee

“No I meant it like I said it!”
“I am hungry, and I mean to have a good meal tonight”
Killer says with a grin.

Killer waits for the retort that he knows is coming
and isn't disappointed when Sir Gee replies;

“ I could see myself cutting its' throat and hacking it up; if you would
only give up your cannibalism and end your evilness”

Killer laughs: What, and then I would be like you?”
Saving damsels in distress, by begging evil-doers to be good
and promising not to be mean?

A third voice is now heard; apparently by only the audience.

“Hey, what are you doing with that knife?”
you're not thinking of...”
“You don't mean he's going to...?”
“Oh, no, you can't do that!”
“Stop him!”

As though this voice might have been heard,
Sir Gee says; “I can't stop you from doing what you will,
but I deplore your taste in meat, brother!”

Act 2:
The scene now, is just before dark and a chill wind starts to blow.
Wind faintly whistles through the branches of a denuded tree,
it's leaves having all fallen and whirling close to the ground.
A crackling fire spits sparks and the sound of meat sizzling on
a stick gives an almost cheerful feel to the night closing in.

Killer speaks through a mouthful food and says;
“Brother, have something to eat!”

“No, not a bite, Killer!” Sir Gee replies.
“You would have me sacrifice my soul, and take me to Hell with you!”

Disembodied voice: “ I think you should both go to Hell!”
Him, for eating my flesh and you for letting him!”
Sure, I was a bad guy; I raped and killed, but I never committed such sacrilege!”

Killer: “ But he was a bad man!
He raped and killed and he deserved to die.
I just don't see the problem!”

Sir Gee: “I give up!”

Killer: Oh, good, have some then.

Sir Gee: No, I don't mean that!”

Unseen voice: Hey, it's my body!
I haven't had anything to eat in days.
How about letting me have some?”

Killer: “I bet that this guy would have eaten us.”

Voice: “Maybe you are right, I'm mad enough to chew off your ear,
and there hasn't been anything to eat around here since I don't know when!”

Sir Gee: We could eat the horse.

Horse: “Wait a minute!
After all I've done for you; carrying you all those miles
through all that shitty weather, with you half-asleep,
and me doing all the work, you want to eat me?”

Killer: “Then how would we get out of here?
“At least the horse can carry us, and if we need
food later, we can always kill him and eat him then.”

Horse: “You just try to get up on my back now
and I'll buck you off and stomp your ass!
Maybe I'll be the first horse to be an omnivore!
Now, that would be unnatural!”

Act 3:
Small rustlings and quiet footsteps in the early mist before dawn.
Killer awakes and reaches over to shake Sir Gee.

“Gee, wake up! Did you hobble the horse last night?”

Sir Gee: “I didn't think it was necessary, where would he go?

Killer: “Well I don't know, but unless the bad guy got up and rode him out of here,
the horse dragged him away.”

Sir Gee: “What?!
Let's follow the horse's trail, he can't be too far.

Last scene:

As Killer and Sir Gee walk past a large clump of brush shielding
the front of a cavern; The horse takes another bite from the body of Killer's
victim and snickers; “Hey, this ain't so bad, maybe I should follow these guys,
let them walk as far as they can and then I can jump them!”

Ghost: I guess if I had to be eaten, it might as well be by the first horse
to eat meat!” Now that's a story to tell around the fire! “

is awesome! I love the ghost voices, the talking horse and of course the interaction between Gee and Killer. I think the verses came together nicely to form a script! Cant wait to see what else happens here....
