A Stone (Imagery Workshop)

Beneath miles of compression, the stone waited to sparkle.

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing?
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?
Last few words:
This is my single verse for the workshop.

Comments

There are near infinite kinds of imagery and I doubt each type has a name. In your single line you described the stone's surroundings as well as its future potential..........A lot of times describing where something is found has a lot to do with getting to the thing's essence which is what some of the best imagery does

Which is always a good sign.
It says so much in so little.
I'm still thinking of one....................
