S L I D E R > D A Z E

crepuscule
here comes the light
slipping from your fingers
like a bolt of rotten satin

your soul lingering
like silverware on chains
your ways are crawling
night is falling

and she will come to you
her thrust within the chest
like a cry in the hidden room
tear stain lush

hush hush
your heart shall rust

This piece gave me chills to read, like someone walking over my grave. Very well written!

it has taken years to write a work
that comes looking easy
A lot of discarded writing

at fifty it finally gels up
but Ive been wanting to write like
this since I was thirteen

I enjoy the internet for its spooky themes
real and imagined
there is something magnetic about the
work of Poe and others of their day

they did not focus on the social commentary
but the real story and I think thats what
makes things timeless

Thank You

wanted to say Get it
but I like this better
Its like the persona of horror writing
gets up Like something animated
something evoked

My freind you have a unique way when you write, that i love. As i've said before i may not always understand but i shall always read your works This one gives me a feeling of a person lost in sadnness, and the lines, hush hush, your heart shall rust, are brilliant. Regards Roscoe..

Roscoe Llane,

for the mask of disbelief that's left.
