God's Wit
God has wit
and a sense of humour;
He made politicians
first.
To keep the devils
laughing silly
so He could make
the world in peace.
Then He invented
the feminist movement
when he formed Eve
from a spare rib.
And just to add
a dirty bit to
an already awkward set up,
He left them naked
in a garden patch
with a fruit
and a talking snake.
Today it feels as though
Eve put on a coat
and Adam on a leash
and fed him apples
twice a day
while asking God
what to do with it.

You watch out that God doesn't Smote you saying that he made a talking snake, come on you are pushing your luck, and leashes hadn't been invented this was done by some people from the "Hell Fire Club" not that way back, and to feed a man twice a day sounds good but where are his five a day, this will do about the wrong bits in your write I have failed though to mention about the Rib Ha Bloody Ha bad translation that it meant soil not his actual rib.

Content crit is scary! I'll admit that now. But then, this write was meant to be humorous/ridiculous. Because of my Christian background, a lot of symbolism weaves its way into my writing.
