dumb deaf and blind

dumb deaf and blind
They say I am blind
I don’t mind

They insist I’m deaf too
How can I deny the truth

Then they say I am dumb
Now that’s being numb

If I were so
how could you know
what I say
but alas it’s the laptop
by the researcher’s way
they can guess I am so

and
so I now confess
dumb I’m, but no woe

But so was Helen Keller
she did not consider these as handicaps
nor Mahatma Gandhi of India

he had three kind mice

deaf don’t hear
blind don’t see
dumb don’t speak

thus as I was born much later
I have to accept
what gave me my master

what He had in mind for me

he gave a three in one present
now you all can see.

So you are dumb deaf and blind,
Then touch the warmth of the sun,
Feel the love of all around you
Seek out things with your mind

Your sojourn will be a beauty
Others will not be able to see
They will not be able to hear
They will not be able to tell

With the beauty and clearness
Of your senses as you seek
They can only wonder at you
Not knowing why you are fulfilled

It made a lovely change to read this one as it was pure, in that it was a separate entity and fell off the tip of your quill with a singular thought.
I am tired young Bard, and will be writing less in the near future, there are times in ones life when other things have a bigger priority, I have now to seek out a reason for doing things for a while.
I will watch your words as they cross the ether, while I tend to the things I need to tend to.
Someone threw me a curved ball the other day and now today I have heard from Ann of Norway and how she is doing other things.
I shall talk later on PM it is 00-01 at the moment so I best be quick, take care out there, Yours Ian.T
