Donald Trump
Discern each day the red-eyed raven
obfuscate the truth
now's the time we need be brazen and
all hail our white supremacy
lock out, dismiss unholy heathen
divine is the fruit of the pure
Trumpet thunder, scream and shout
raise your right hand high and claim to
under the guise of a different holocaust
make America great again
pardon me, I want to puke

I share your sentiment. That guy just don't get it. No greatness can come out of being biased and racist. A good write for the contest. You're one helluva contestant.

Hi Judyanne
I don't know if there is a poetry form called "Rebuke"...If so, you have hit the Bull's Eye..
Good to see you back with a hard thump on Donald's bums...:) Was wondering where you had disappeared..
Much love...

thanks raj
I've been looking in every now and then - but pretty busy in the 'real world' I'm sad to say...
my muses, too, have taken a very long vacation. They are obviously enjoying themselves as they haven't come home yet lol
I thought I'd attempt a poem without them and the contest arena seemed the best place to start...

I find
it hard to swallow that we are likely going to have to choose between him and Hellary.......and in my opinion, anybody would be better than her.......stan

'tis definitely a worry Stan
The trumpeteer or the hellary.....
maybe you should go for the independent jessie the adventurer - at least he might chase up some of those conspiracy theories lol
I don't envy your decision....

if there is a choice
I can offer my voice
for a nation
which will lead the world
for better or worse
I could speak for all in verse
terse
and
see the USA
gets brighter coz of me
only if I had the choice
of having been BORN
on American soils
own integrated sperms
Judyanne
have your turn ....
you surely are on better terms
