Dawn's Bright Starry Skies

It's nice outside; it's rather windy
Frogs are singing very loud
I'm star gazing for the meteor shower
Hoping to catch a glimpse.

The darkest time before it's dawn
Myriads and myriads of stars is all I see
Shinning bright in the skies
Above the tree's majestic height.

I once flew up there, but couldn't see them
Among the clouds with American Airlines
The sunseting lingered longer
And the sunrise was brighter.

White clouds turned dark clouds
Blue skies turned dark skies
The altitude made me breathless
Jerking like a fish out of water.

I couldn't stop peeping through the window
At the red lights flashing on the snow covered wings
The Little Dipper up above
Is shining its glory on my head.

A lovely write did you see the meteor shower it happens every year not sure how many years it will last.
During August we go through the remnants of a Comet that left a trail of debris around the sun.
It is a great thing to see, so now we have to wait till next year lol.
Take care out there, Yours as always Ian..
