Crazy, how things add up
and you never would've guessed,
that "less", could've been your lot in life,
or you could've been more greatly blessed.

I could've been someone else
maybe a leader with a cause;
or you could've been a loser
with your life, totally on "pause".

Or maybe an entertainer
living a fantasy on stage,
being careful not to throw a fit
like an artist that's full of rage.

Guess you could've been a criminal
always trying to get away;
or travel, because of your employment,
when at home, you'd rather stay.

There is a point I'm making,
one can't come all unglued
if your cards aren't worth playing,
don't make things worse, with an attitude.

Also, in the same regard
Life may being throwing us each a "test",
and should any throw that tantrum
there's no way we'd look our "best".

Otherwise we'd just be miserable
constantly complaining 'bout our lot;
Life's nuances, we aught to savor
we aught to be thrilled for what we've got.

But, if one can't find conentedness
and is sickened to one's soul,
one might belong to another time and place,
say maybe an existence as a "Troll".

For, considering everything I know
about magic, different times, and places;
being content with who each of us are,
sure beats barely saving, our collective faces !
