Plea To A Tormenting Sky

drape your cold around my shoulders
squint my eyes, daring dark
pound your thunder into my moan
brazen my heart with lightning bolts

temper me mean
stoic, and hard

aloof from this
quiet desperation

A Scene On Christmas

The silence of the night broken
by a joyous Christmas carol
and the sound of santas' bells ,
bringing cheer to the world.
In the warm Christian houses
families gather,bearing gifts.
The air filled with joyful laughter,
beautiful moments are conceived

Outside an old man walks alone,
peering at their christmas trees,
wishing that he had a home.
The cold winter chills his poor bones
he heads to a nearby shelter
where others like him seek refuge
from the unforgiving weather.

Trees by Philip Larkin (The Right Word Workshop)

The trees are (turning) into leaf
Like (words) almost being said
The recent buds (grow) and spread
Their greenness is a kind of grief

Is it that they are (young) again
And we (growing) old? No, they (aged) too
Their yearly trick of looking new
Is written down in rings of grain

Yet still the unresting (wild) thresh
In fullgrown (on) every May
Last year (sweet) (dreams) they seem to say,
Begin afresh, afresh, (afresh)

Workshop:

Power Burn

position taken
position set
drive the anchor pin
we shall not be moved
this is war
suck it up
shut the fuck up
can't hear you
lalalalalla
wrong
wrongwrongwrong
monger monger
mangy monger
shut 'em down
power to us
power for us
a power lust
burning righteous
burning within
burn baby burn
burn it down
burn them bridges
bras, cards, flags, symbols
cars, stores, books, badges
burn 'em down
burn the whole fuckin' house down

Colors

The horizon had a violet hue,
Turquoise waves lapped far and few...

Perched on rocks black and askew,
Amongst the couples he felt so blue...

A crimson sunset was the view,
Wet yellow sand stuck to him like glue...

Returning tanned was a fishing crew,
Followed by white chaos that flew...

Shades of gray made their nets look grim,
But the silver shone as they swam aground...

Hung on a chain with green seaweed trim,
A rusty anchor groaned as it slowly drowned...

Memories Of A Runaway Child

Sick of the cycle of loneliness,
forgotten birthdays, broken promises
and empty moments stretched by boredom,
my heart longed for its freedom!

To my parents, I was invisible,
a voice to be ignored, dead to their world.
Their endless search for fortune left me,
playing with ghosts of my fantasy.

Their house was not my home,
its a prison made of stone
where dreams were forsaken
and hope stumbled and crumbled!

De Rege: Canto IV

Once green of spring, now brown leaves lay,
once vibrant heart now cold and gray.
The seasons change, and I should’ve known
That the frosty storms and tempests blown
Shall kill the life of feeble flowers
While cold rain comes in sheets and showers,
While life goes on, it flows subdued
Streams undercurrent's sombre mood.
Just so, one wintry glance alone
From frigid king - man cold as stone -
Shall freeze the gentle heart, and then
‘’Invidia vincit amorem,”
The heart once free now lives enslaved

A stranger next door

I see you through the stained walls of my home,
Your window is open
And my heart is beating way too fast.
I can sit back and enjoy now that I'm all alone
My heart would be broken
But I don't care no more for it won't last.
John just left a few minutes ago-
And I gave him what I had.
I never told you how beautiful you are,
But you are amazing, my love,
Those are some nice tits you have.
Now I'm ready for the show,
Oh, and-
I love the tattoo on your back.

In The Realm of Despair

A land barren of hope,
never knows the soothing wind
The trees standing here
have bare branches, black as sin

The rivers are murky waters,
carrying the stench of cowardice
where the quitters' souls drown,
having lost their will to fly.

There are no beautiful colours here,
only creeping shadows of the past
where the ghosts of the fallen gather
bemoaning their fate turned to dust.

This is the hell created by Man
when he refused to strive

Think of Me, Remember Me

Think of me,
when my voice no longer speaks.
Remember me
when my heart no longer beats

You know I wish
I could keep you company
in a song of bliss
but I'm feeling too weak

When mechanics
help my heartbeats
I will be sick
and close to defeat'

So be my voice
when I am away
