OF HOPE

Hope springs forth like a river
In the heart of man till life’s end
That he be blessed round and round
His future better than yesterday
Hope comes in and bears the storm

Like a mother in the heart of man,
She does not rest till the child is calm
When the travails of life weigh him down
Hope gives solace to the weary soul
She comes in and bears the storm

Hope is like sun rays in the heart of man
Which drive darkness away from his eyes
When adversities, like tempest rise
In the great and mighty sea of life
He comes in and bears the storm

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Review Request (Direction):
What did you think of my title?
How was my language use?
What did you think of the rhythm or pattern or pacing?
How does this theme appeal to you?
How was the beginning/ending of the poem?
Is the internal logic consistent?

Comments

has made me hop over here ,
till your poem is read
by as many
and not left in the mortuary
OF extinct poetry..

You are a good seasoned poet here...

but why hasn't this been read
for so long
ask Neopoets owners...
no one should have a poetry unread ...
the MGMT staff must intervene
and allot poetry to all stalwarts
to read at least those
which are over five months old
unread ie..
put your foot down
and let them know
upon poetry our lives
we sow...
hahahaha... good luck
At least I have read it
and now it stands first
in theQQQQQQQQQQQQ

loved

that I am shy and that my pieces are not read for some reasons. When someone like you go the extra to read my scribbles, it gives me joy. I appreciate your comments and the time you put into my work. Thank you and best wishes.
