Singing the ennui away.

Trundle up the hill in grief,
then thunder down, hot tears in rain

Wedge your nose into a rose,
as if to learn to sniff again

Find your feet, raise up and plod
on the self same, old beaten track

Peer in lost curiosity at shops, once known,
interiors now, are starkly black

Realize, you've done all this before
and wonder also, too

Why all the horror of the world
has been lost on some, but loosed on you

But know: this is just the ennui talking
that late afternoon palliative rose

a passionate rebirth

Languorus strokes
trace the texture and curves,
the heat gently burns
deep in the pit of my soul

Wooing areola
the tip of your tongue
glides to its target
teasing tips to a frenzy

All reason flees
as straps feather,
brushed lightning
dimples my arms

I am lost in desire
I'm a slave to need,
the langer presses
urgency in its pulse

a spark ignites
as passion collides,
arising to your mouth
lips fire the flames

Puddles and brush

wheels go round picking up gravel
hubs dirty slowly turning
cold hands on worn handles
driving to the warm mall
for the escapade of
movement
and momentum
beautiful sights
and the din of its
social sound

...

To Sir with Love Dear Jess

To Sir with Love
By Lovedly

I really miss you so,
What a poet
would ever I have been
Jess
if you had been so kind
not to kick me

The deserving get the salutations
and
you are Jess
above all my hearts palpitations

without your kicks on my behind
I would have been lost
and
just left far behind
in this vast ocean
I call time

not without
any reason or rhyme...

A World held Hostage

When innocence no longer knows fear
the rivers of earth will unleash a baptism,
as anger fades with their ancestors genes
souls of the Guf will forevermore fly free

Evils are blinding the light of humanity
spotting the gaze of the troubled
stealing the hearts of the lost,
a graver threat now revolutionizes war

We've only one chance to save our world
do not waste it with greed and envys lies,
now with connections made planet wide
the danger has never been more imminent

bon voyage

My voyage starts
ere the sunrises
in the Far East
always beyond yonder hills
any where you may see

the ship sails away
in the opposite direction
to the West
the sun knows it,
it chases me daily
as I reach the port
my ultimate destination

it helps me guide
to where I park
ere I get lost
in the dark
and
then it wishes me
Good bye
Do rise.....

WHIRLING DERVISH edit

Whirling Dervish

There are hearts that never feel
and souls as cold as steel
who like Whirling Dervishes
dance to disconnect --
Creators of blissful trances
and release into madness.

Chaos

The bodies have begun to pile
the stench of death grips the air,
no more can innocence find shelter
as the structure of humanities wall

Crumble into chaos

Nations strike the heart of the East
Boom ! Again and again and again,
still corpses pile up rotting in streets
as peace finds herself slipping away

Piece by bloody peace

Strangers weep for sisters and brothers
a bond not of blood, but unified grief,
we seek to find reason in a maelstrom
we search soul less eyes for compassion

POETICS

POETICS

I write as the music flows
from soul to heart and heart
to mind
I don't always sing in meter
and rhyme:
I am not in search of the sublime
for form may the truth hide
and all human traits falsify
then lose my words in a lie.

Wednesday

i just want a taste of a soul
instead of skin plagued
promises
turn back to lexa
she's a pro
at sifting through
sticks and stones
and the times that
broke my bones
their brittleness is
my strength
my frailty is
His power
what kind of ties
would be tangled
around my limbs
and my lips
rocks thrown
at my flesh
and my emptiness
without His forgiveness
and never ending
Bless-
sings amidst
sin and
purity
carefully
