how I know

but gave that away
bits and peices of memory return
I write such long poems at times
thought that a short little poem would
be applicable to break that length
up

the head turn and gone
just the glimpse to carry on
and the backdrop
wide angle and resting
on the horizon

I see the limbs the branches
the edge of her
and shes gone..................

a vision of a vision
serene and edged
not yesterday
and not tommorow

That would be less pretentiously arranged and succinct. Even able to be picked up like a little precious stone in the hand, the sky in your hand.
Just me mumbling.
