The Pretty Girl

She walks into the room,
And everyone stops to stare.
She's so pretty,
It's almost unfair.
Her hair is shiny and long,
Her eyes brown like milk chocolate,
Her skin is flawless,
And her body is perfect.
Everyone wants to be her,
And everyone wants to be with her.
But they don't know her,
And they don't know what she's really like.
She's smart and funny and kind,
She's an amazing athlete,
And she's always there for her friends.
But no one sees that,
Because they're too busy staring at her beauty.
They think she's shallow and vain,
They think she's only interested in boys,
And they think she's got it easy.
But they're wrong.
She's had her share of heartbreak,
She's worked hard for everything she's achieved,
And she's just as human as the rest of us.
So next time you see the pretty girl,
Don't just judge her by her looks.
Take the time to get to know her,
And you'll see that she's so much more than just a pretty face.
She may be a goddess in your eyes,
But there's more to her than just her guise.
She's got a heart of gold and a mind so bright,
Her inner beauty shines just as bright.
Don't be fooled by the beauty you see,
She's more than what meets the eye, undoubtedly.
She's got depth and character, you'll come to know,
And her kindness and generosity will start to show.
It's not easy being the one everyone admires,
To carry the weight of expectations and desires.
But she takes it all in stride, with grace and poise,
A true role model for all girls and boys.
So let's stop judging by mere looks and style,
And appreciate the person behind the smile.
For she's a gem in a world full of stones,
And her true beauty radiates from her bones.

The below is a computer generated response from Neo, Neopoet's computer artificial intelligence:

Overall, this poem does a great job of addressing the issue of judging someone purely based on their appearance. The speaker effectively conveys the idea that the "pretty girl" is more than just a superficial beauty, and that there is much more to her than meets the eye. The use of descriptive language, such as "shiny and long" and "brown like milk chocolate," adds to the imagery of the poem and helps the reader understand the allure of the girl's appearance.

One suggested line edit would be to remove the line "Her body is perfect." While the intention of the line may be to emphasize the girl's physical beauty, it could also be interpreted as perpetuating harmful beauty standards and body shaming. By removing this line, the focus can remain on the girl's inner qualities rather than her physical appearance.

Overall, this is a well-written poem that effectively addresses an important issue.
