shrive against the soul borne
peste
the sleek winds keening
in tombs the dead are waking
a red masque is waiting
soft underlings demand
their STAE

the dark eye seeks
for echo weeps
the fires of lividity lick
embers to the stars
and the dark ones
shall stretch from
their keep

Star Wars, or some such diversion
that I am totally unschooled in,
touches the fringes of my consciousness
and sends me into realms of play,
thunderbolts
and dizzying spins grab my skirts
and fling me far away
from any possibility
of commenting on this poem.

Hope I'm forgiven
or the red dwarf will come and consume me.

Rock on your coward Ann..

"The image of yourself which you see in a mirror Is dead,
but the reflection of the moon on water, lives." Kenzan.

man was trodding on the moon
driving his atv's around and playing golf
Vietnam was getting worse and worse
the hippies were taking over and some
people were fighting back from years of
opression....(Natives and blacks and women)

technology was the hope as its been forever
HG WELLS stories of which I havent read but
watched the movies and remakes of his stories
were based on facts not just fiction.. His rocketship
to the moon in his timely work took off from an
equatorial degree and Nasa used Florida as their
launch site also close to the eqautor
and the splash down for recovery was also used too
Russians they use a small capsule that lands with
chutes and puts the cosmonauts in rubber gel
to cushion the landing in the desert A much easier
retreival and in the open desert not much to land on
Each cosmonaut gets his own custom made space
like eggs in a carton A pretty sharp idea!!

I had hope for science and development
The truck that the americans designed worked well
for its longevity and service
and hand hald devices like Star Trek of the sixties
are now working..Like Dick Traceys Wrist phone from
the funnies we read as kids in the early seventies

Come a long way from runners drums fires flags
and telegraph

Im sure theres still a place for microdot film
though and tube amplifiers for guitars still have
the original sound that electronics dont have
Im glad for electronics but I know that if electricity
failed everything would revert to hand use
and physical manifestation again

I still remember my jet plane ride to jamaica
and the wonder of flying so well above the
clouds in comfort A harrowing trip by sea
and sail in the old days

I still think of Tesla and his inventions some
of which are still top secret and his tests
in Wyoming with wireless power transmission
and energy beam

I think he was pretty ahead of things

anyway I play XBOX and marvel at this

I keep thinking of Norway with its myths
and mysterious places and how close
it is to the north its military importance
etc a msytic place

Thank You
