"Yankee..Hotel..Foxtrot"

sizzle they come
the jealous hearts
firing salvos

black smear envy exploding
in beautific cordite bloom

Nose cone eye
unblinking
guiding beneath my seat

This azure night as still
as a ships bottle battle

the skin flank hissing
the afterburner churning

and yet how my heart
holds its heat seeking
love for thee

hurtle on morning sweet as
a cherubs smile
we shall wreak death at midnight
fitter sleek machine

A weird love, in the poem for something so destructive.
Reminds me of a time they were testing a weapon like this where they had all the TV recorders around the site to record its fire power.
As it started its first fire sequence it cut all the cable going to the cameras, excellent test can't recall if the test was a success lol.
Realists have to accept that some wars are inevitable and people get hurt, dead hurt.
It is a pity that we cannot live in Peace young man then the view from the Café window would be a joy all the time.
Have a great journey, great to walk with you, Yours Ian.T
