lo gloss
impact has sown
symetrical
succinct
shorn ideals
leaflets of rules
fallen
asleep
beneath a ruse
of vacant stars
aiming in a trembling
motion of needles
the beacon steady
while the world banks
the word stumbling
everything locked down
behind the simplicity
of steel
knock down the doors
and let a seasons
rule rise up and impair
the histories
if and when
the turn completes
the slow sun swing
all angles and shadows
washed in rain waits
softened in book packets
on shelves
on worn gaits
travelling sequential and
elaborate
the years glittering
the darkness
arcades of magic
she arrives
departs standing
tall
short
defiant
demure
i age full of electricity
tested
weathered in the battles
earned and disembarked
her hands like swarms of
mystery
as i slept
leaning with an ear at these
tables
and my eyes
beyond the punctuation
of emergence
the departures
elongated in the breeze
of souls
that reign like a solid
light
an energy consuming
this unsated hunger
drifting in the angles
the boarded up happiness
the tall grass on even lots
and hill mentors
as lonely as watchful
ghosts
a pattern
familiar
as a missing
beat
she is closing in towards
eyes she dreams
and i feel the weightless
saturation of her wingtips
rested my work
on her thighs
and felt the years
erase like light
all the angels
she has always been
one
in the faces she wears
the bodies she bears
...

about a stone angel....
in a forgotten pioneer graveyard
where the forest rose up to shelter
and softened the stone like
a decades memory
a millenium blurred
