JIGGER THE TIGGAH

scrounged about
but nothings but the empty
realm of the passive
glow ..the empty trays
the butts in the cup
plastic on the box
crumpled and the remote
taped together with
black tape
shiny and new

Lights are half on
sitting in the cross shadows
a wasteland of night
the plows have come
their dinasour dance
the candy supped up
the worn texture of love
smoked down to its
crusty vintage hate
burning like foil
on the fingertips
scarred
The candles filled your
wet eyes like windows of
night
rain falling
the snow calling
magazines and
abandoned dreams
run the shower to take
off the edge
shatter the chill
teeth chattering
coming down
like the adrenaline
afterburner
flung on the pile
of quilts
propped up
like the lifeboat
of night
the snow drifting
down
the winds dropped
the intensitys stopped
gather your things
tuck your hair behind
your eyes
a quick hug
and you dissapear
like the shadow
to the cab
tail lights glowing
down the lane
and then gone

an old black and
white on the tube
to calm the jangled
chimes
we are tribe hooked
up to the electronic
vine
the cryptic venue
and chappy snaps
visit as long to
charge up the phone
never touching the
tea
too eat
just too meet
and greet
in grinder realms
while music mix
wonderland
reverbs off the walls
and down on the corner
the empty street
changes lights
and fills the tracks
of dusk
with its leavings

its been a soft day
so I know its gonna
be a Hard Night
and I dig out the reserve
and get comfortable
listening to the furnace
thrust air through the
metal rivers
keep away the damp
like loneliness

normally the hair covers the eyes..
it was ears...but it meant reveal the eyes
the second eye contact
from the first
like semaphores and signals
tuck the hair behind the ears
was going to say something
but it never happens
I got all the answers
and i dont want to know
nothing
anyway
Just go
