Grey Bank

the storm front walks
soothing
slow as a suicide
the crash felt
in tendrils
through the tendons of
each grasp
illumination
of a dark ideal

I felt fear
treading
nightmares
waking
in the walk

they cured me
of that malady
by giving me
more
and more

I feel the sun
burying me
with each ray
hear the winds
in every sleeve
Ive worn
disguises
the trips

the town so
quiet
it hardly
seems
the same
anymore..

by giving me huge doses of sunshine. Now I am almost as confused as when I was lost in the storm. Ah, no matter, sometimes you just trade one reality for another. This one gave me loads to think about! Thanks, ~ Gee.

This must be the place, 'cause there ain't no place like this place anywhere near this place.

the old west themes I liked....I did not live wide
or on my own
delving and being the chameleon
was the brilliance of this mind
tricksterism I always said
magician like
villian then hero

thinking about what U said
and its true
I used to bomb off into town
on my mountian bike
"It's showtime"
and Ive chummed
with a lot of very interesting
people
and that being said
I was one of them
Not in a braggacio way
but a grave reproach

Like a new hand
taking the turn at
the table
I used to play cards
years ago
slowly and with
difficulty...

words and words
forests and flowers
feathers and treasures
the darkness of
pursuit

forever adapting
in the forage
calamity and
then calm

we are energy
to turn back to
energy
our legacy
the interest
and passion
of writing
an illumination
round to the dark
in that vision
of havoc

surreal

always good
to read ur words
as I struggle
with myself
almost failing
but keeping going
I advance

I like the view

thank U

At the first stanza:

" soothing
slow as a suicide
the crash felt
in tendrils"

And thought of J G Ballard and Crash, Burroughs and his crazy interzone typewriters, I'm sure you've got one of those in the secreted attic of your wonderful invention out there... as I said, always an adventure, wrapped in a mystery, loved it.

Cheers

Chris.
