faintly forget to remember it well

Clinique
wraps her arms about me
through the crack in the curtians
over the mill
the sun is working
west below hill
morse taps clattery rap
mill rumbles
i grumble
squeezes me
a slinky anoconda
the downy hair
on boa arms
Blue Air Mail
cold august sky
grey eyes
craning over
tip toe from above
carrying her weight
behind the kitchen
chair
reach up pull her
close...dangling
damsel
U got me Mr!
Pernod kisses
on the turntable
Unhappy Girl
starts...two minutes
thirty seconds in
it skips
not there yet
pressed to the
silk ink ribbon
in blue...
lay the unfinished
words
verita...
fingers stalled
for another work
of dexterity
unable
the bl

blue jeans
and work boots
dust from work
trying to crank out
more stories
to the little art zine
the cannonball
poster bed will
be warm
corner lamp
with throw its
comforting haze
the gloss of lacquer
glass..glycerine
yellow streetlamp
cast through the
backyards across
a leaning fence
through the cherry
trees a tallow oil
on chinese folding
screens screwed
to the windows

time for that
the rest of the
line
and the song
skips like the
wheels on the
train time
that i will fall
asleep too
exhausted
sated
restless
and satisfied
...

Visiting this piece in honor of "Esker Appreciation Week" as per Jess. Loved the read as I most always do with your work. You and I differ much in style and often content, but remain true brothers in our usage of the poetic language.
