Decent Shape
Glove box
piles of her foil wrapped treats
like trinkets soiled in her perfume
unspun them while she spun
the wheel
the streets like a carnival ride
summer streaming across
us and the top a big top shadow
baby seat in the back
and dark eyes on the road
Blue like an edge where the
coral meets the deep
and Edge where the shark
intuition swam...her fin
sunken and sharp
summer went so fast
i unhooked my belt
and untangled my legs
from all the junk
floormats and cups
she came about the
back and dug something
from my side..turning
and it was like looking
at the turbulent coastline
of something distant
and dangerous and
exotic
her hair spinning in
the thick breeze from
the lake
the pupils dark like blue
pools...raindrops on
ghost white sidewalks
the dust was ruined
with her smile
dampened in its deliverance
like cheap holy water
sipping dollar champagne
and uppers
I was a sold soul
under the banners of
foil snapping in the
sound
the willows wept in that
heat I could feel them
sizzling like her temper
the fiery encouragement
of her desire
and my old frustrations
of never learning
my hand on the handle
she walked towards the
screen door
the wink of the glass
like the moon of an angel
burning in an addicts
nightmare
tracts of merri wrecks
and candoured apples
shone with the blush
of a brush
extracting posioned
notions
I breathed in the lakes
soul weathered with
its oceanic favor
the grit of sand
blown underfoot
the pinwheel daisies
hurtled
Love me love me love
me not

Your poetry is fascinating!
You are unique, my friend. You have all these poetic phrases in your head.....amazing! "The fiery encouragement of her desires. ."
I love your work!

Jessie
shes real...drop dead gorgeous! about twenty seven now........gave me her TATOO brand pants...so be it..I patch em up.....patched up worn pants downtown big city in snooty stores are one fifty....worn with proper Ray Bans and a decent watch! one can look kick ass Hipster! except these were on Jessies Hips....(smiles....) and she had a sister...more thinner..like a starved harder version of angeline jole... I used to stop and get coffee from that sister...whom would lean over the serving counter like a sphinx too me...she got fired eventually....the drink....and I would always get free coffees....to see Jessie whom waited for my threehour walk from work to where I lived.....talk about Loves and passions and muses....they were beautiful! and later I would watch television with my older muse...a hardcore woman whom looked after me and I looked after her......foxes and mares.......
