As you know, most Haiku poems written in modern times, don't follow the original structure of the 17 syllable: 5-7-5 line count. Also they are now broad with their choice of subject matter. When writing this, I was trying to focus on describing the size of the love for a person, Oceans deep (describing depth of love) Moons wide (describing width) Heavens high (describing height).
I was trying to move away from the traditional structure, at least with this poem.

"Poetry is music for the human voice. Until you actually speak it or someone speaks it, it has not come into it's own."
