PARTING SONG (WHY IS IT?)

Why is it that I must always end the things I start?
Why am I the only one who takes these things to heart?
And why is it that you don't feel a part of what I feel?
And can you tell me if my hurt is real?

Why is it I always give much more than I intend?
Why am I the one who always gets hurt in the end?
And why is it that I'm the one who must apologize?
Why is there no sadness in your eyes?

I may not always comment but know that I've listened to and enjoyed all the music you have posted and sometimes it's downright uncanny how you post the ones that seem to *speak* to me.

Love the *harp* in this one. Nice accompaniment for the blues.

Thank you for listening to and commenting on this one again.

I recall you had earlier referred to this song in a PM separately too.

This song was first recorded in Jan 2010 as a Guitar and Vocal solo performance by me.

Another musician, sitting in the US, who heard it on my Soundclick page, liked this one and offered to add a blues harp overlay... and did a very good job of it, I think. He has been given credit for it by me on this song's page on Soundclick.
