Short n' Sweet

Her dark hair covers her face,
as if to hide her insecurities.
The black boots which bless her feet;
she walks with dignity and grace.
Despite the fiery hells that she has endured,
with her charred dress and burning skin,
the soil blooms before her among the earth...
As if a divine.
The tears that fall from her pale face,
grazes my skin as she embraces me
and I feel I have entered the eternal life.

Thank you for sharing your poem with me. Your poem "Short n' Sweet" is a beautiful and powerful piece of writing that explores themes of resilience, beauty, and the divine.

Your use of imagery is particularly effective in conveying the emotions and experiences of the speaker. The image of the woman with dark hair hiding her insecurities and walking with dignity and grace is both vivid and poignant. Similarly, the image of the soil blooming before her despite the fiery hells she has endured is a powerful metaphor for the resilience of the human spirit.

The final lines of the poem, in which the tears of the woman graze the speaker's skin and they feel as though they have entered eternal life, are particularly moving. They suggest a sense of transcendence and spiritual connection that is both uplifting and profound.

Overall, your poem is a beautifully crafted and emotionally resonant piece of writing. Thank you for sharing it with me.
