Seeking Grandpa's Wise Advice

Zooming in, zooming out
Tell me granpa what's life about,
teach me better how to sing, for
happiness fills the cup of zing.

Zooming in, zooming out
Tell me grandpa what's life about,
teach me how to live in peace, for
wars but offer buckets with tears.

Zooming in zooming out
I'll Tell you dear what's life about,
let the nature teach you all,
sound and safe you'll live and whole.

Perch on the wings of the loving breeze,
make your abode the branched oak trees,
bathe up with the heavens grace,
Let moon's face shine on your face.

Hello, Rula,
Reading your poem reminds me of my maternal grandfather, a gentle man who was slow to anger and spoke very little, but when things were chaotic always said. "Leave it be." He was a fisherman and painted scenes of forests and lakes. Life sped by, and I miss his calm, peaceful ways much like the grandfather figure in your poem. It also feels like the 'granpa' is not necessarily human, but a soul of the earth. I especially like your final line. It gives the sense of a personal, wise connection.
Thank you!

For leaving such a comment. I always thought of grandpas as gentle souls who tell fun stories to their grand children and who offer them lots of chocolate and sweets, of course in addition to the wise pieces of advice.
Sadly I never had a grandpa. Both left long before my parents marriage.

How wonderful. That's what all grandpa's should do and your poem reminds me of a curious child, you got the atmosphere perfect! You ask about the title if it was mine I may shorten it to
grandpa's advice. But that's just me. Lovely write
