KERNEL BOGEY

They were enjoying a festival
They went into a field to pick vegetables
She preferred him to the other men
She knew he was a Trustifarian!
They were so happy, young and trendy
They strode into the fields of plenty
They were carefree and highly-sexed
They weren't to know what would happen next!
NAKED GAMBOLS IN THE CORN
A NICE, QUIET PLACE TO GET THE HORN
IT HAD GROWN SOME 6 FEET DEEP
AND AFTER THE NOOKIE, THEY FELL ASLEEP
The One o'clock sun was shining briht
So they farmer was wearing React-O-Lites
He couldn't see what lay ahead
In the rick, thick cornfield that he had spread
The machinery turned a perfect arc
And circled on them like a Basking Shark
This young couple would've taken the plunge
'Til the rotor blades got covered in gunge!
Blood and guts flew around
And made a squelch when it hit the ground
Flesh was scattered everywhere
Severed lumps and tufts of hair
Their extremities were all sliced
Though other parts looked more diced
The birds of prey in Cactus Gulch
Would've loved the human mulch!
THEIR YOUNG LIVES WERE OBLITERATED
WHEN THEY GOT EVISCERATED
THEY WERE MECHANICALLY SEPARATED
THE PICTURE BECAME ALL PIXELLATED!
Everything had been hunky-dory
Then a combine harvester ruined the story
This young couple had been torn apart
Though a lump of her leg still touched his heart
But their relationship was now finished
As their life-forces were diminished
The carnage was beyond belief
And you thought only Argentines made Corned Beef?

a bouncy piece of limericnal, [I made that word up]!
But that is what this sounds like to me, a bunch of limericks tied together
in one poem.
An amusing, bloody tale told by The Poet In The Pub.
Nicely done, I do believe we have a new inmate! Welcome aboard, Phil.
