With Hope For The Future

We planted ninety oak trees.
Will they prosper well?
Is there time?

Review Request (Intensity):

This is a Quinzaine. There are 15 total syllables: 7,5,3 in three lines. First line is a statement, the other two are questions relating to the first line. (Per Shadow Poetry) Is there enough hope and time to replenish Earth's woods and forests after deforestation? Thank you! L

Hey Lavender, I've never read a Quinzaine before I think. It's a bit like a haiku turned upside down. Ruby :)

Give and grow - let's raise our verses together. I'm happy to comment on your work and appreciate a comment on mine.

I had not heard of it, either. Thought I'd give it a try. It's actually a bit harder than I thought at the beginning, especially when trying to add some depth to the theme and purpose of the poem. Here, I was trying to convey the message of replenishing our woods and forests after deforestation - hoping there is enough time. Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts!
