With Hope For The Future
We planted ninety oak trees.
Will they prosper well?
Is there time?
Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Last few words:
This is a Quinzaine. There are 15 total syllables: 7,5,3 in three lines. First line is a statement, the other two are questions relating to the first line. (Per Shadow Poetry) Is there enough hope and time to replenish Earth's woods and forests after deforestation?
Thank you!

Hey Lavender, I've never read
Hey Lavender, I've never read a Quinzaine before I think. It's a bit like a haiku turned upside down. Ruby :)

Hi, Ruby,
I had not heard of it, either. Thought I'd give it a try. It's actually a bit harder than I thought at the beginning, especially when trying to add some depth to the theme and purpose of the poem. Here, I was trying to convey the message of replenishing our woods and forests after deforestation - hoping there is enough time. Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts!
