Who am I?

Who am I/any of us in this Covid world?
Isolated, feeling like we're all alone;
Like our lives have had to be put on postpone?
Yeah, we can seek out our therapist, but what about the rest of the time?
I feel like I'm all out of rhyme
Who am I?

This is how I've been feeling as of late.

I COULD speak my mind right now but I'm not going to. (about our governor and just my different views regarding Covid) I just think about people like my friend Sandi in these times, if she was still alive, she would not be able to handle it. That sums it up a bit.

out mental hugs! I feel the emotion here. Just keep on keeping on, we will get there! ~ Geez.

Comments and critique are vital to this site!
Even if you just say: I liked this story or your spelling
of a word is wrong, take the time to write a line or two
and comment. Your fellow poets will thank you!

be it Covid ~~~Cancer or TB~ some with broken ribs maybe~
so many
that it will make history pages ---so just live through all of it
only 100 years maybe
few increasing despite so many viral diseases

So live your life heartily
why be scared really
Time for all humans is limited clearly
let us live
till we live

I sleep a lot. One of these days I'll wake up and covid will be gone and I'll wonder what in the heck happened lol
luck for me Emily not much aside from that changed. Pretty much status quo for me. I'm lucky though.
Sounds like being lost, your poem. I'm sorry Emily.
Later now, you have some great input here.
Keep the chin up and write,

If you take the time to read a poem then take the time to let the author know you were there. Study it and form an opinion as well, even if it means going back to it more than once. That is basic critique, what Neopoet is all about.

Thank you for all the support, guys, it doesn't go unnoticed. Teddy, I guess you're right, we really are a family. See, Mark, I'm USUALLY just the opposite in these times. I sleep but will either have disturbing/uneasy dreams and/or not feel rested in the morning/wanna stay in bed. I did sleep better last night, though, which seems to have made ALL the difference. Maybe my new lavender sleep mask is starting to do its job, I don't know.
