Another day opens its flower
revealing her heart to the sky
that space eternal, dark.

What specks of dust are we
when measured in proportion to the whole
however small, our egos fill the all
all knowledge stored inside our brain, its busy fret
until one day its closing bud becomes
one again with all the matter of this universe.

Distant traffic, the ventilating drone of living
in a concrete box, we call our safe haven,
is all I have as entertainment when I cannot sleep,
outside the mantel of the night gives gentle light,
its calm, its still and sleeping bird awake.

The puffing of my partner in his dreams
I am aware as hours tick by, the heat
is now a burden as spring becomes soon summer
why can't it let me close my eyes.

Once again a lovely description of yours, not being able to sleep and just daydreaming away.
A little over descriptive for many of our readers , a portrait when a photo will do, but it is just you dear Ann just you, Yours Ian.T

There are a million reasons to believe in yourself,
So find more reasons to believe in others..

Thank you Ian, yes I know what you mean, but I can't help being me!

Love Ann

"The image of yourself which you see in a mirror Is dead,
but the reflection of the moon on water, lives." Kenzan.
