JUST NAMES - Historical figures - June contest

Einstein and Pufendorf
Grotius and Baudelaire
those names and others
that make us laugh
but why
'tis they who changed
the clocks of human minds
rewound their inner thoughts
turned their routines into
something else
saw anew the mundane lot
gave us in many ways
a different plot

Margaret Ann Waddicor 9th June 2017

Style / type:
Free verse
Last few words:
Say what you please! The Historical people filled my mind and a few came out to meet me as I thought, so I used them and let the others take the back seat in my poem.
