Mended Heart

On a dark cloudless night
I peered into the sky
When suddenly I saw a
Shimmer of light
My heart could not deny.
I glared upon the surface
Of a love that couldn't last,
Then pierced inside a broken heart
With memories from the past.
It's gleaming streams of rays
Touched the teardrops falling down
And gently wiped away the hurt
From which my heart was bound
I shivered as my heart let go
Of dreams I had of you
And mended back my broken heart
That once was torn into.

Great poem

author comment

I like it...in its flow
and duration to make the point
Love indeed hurts
but is worth the pain
I keep telling myself
muses!!

thank U

in suffering
and
men in giving
is by virgins
under the cover of darkness
no mercies
even smaller ones indeed
unless from pangs of bondage
one is freed
that too
when both have agreed
to part
at last
gradually not fast
