Like everyone else with their strong feelings,
I have fallen in love.

And it feels so…
Obsessively
Incurious.

“I extol you.”
“You are my favorite flower.”

But why be like this for someone that
Doesn’t even treat me right?

For someone that threw away and buried my love, 6 feet deep.
As I lay down wondering, “How can I leave?”

How long can I live within this state?
I need to leave as fast as he can barely say, “Goodbye.”

Or else I won’t be here the next day.

This poem was based off an ex best friend I had. It was good to put out my feelings and experiences in such a short poem.

This feels pretty real and I’m going to ask if your physically in danger? If this is autobiographical I think you may be in emotional danger. It is not my business but I’m here if you’re reaching out.

The writing is an excellent self examination and I’m in love with it. You’re becoming self aware whist writing it! It might hurt a little but you owe yourself that much.
