walking with Wõden
walking with Wõden
weir-witched warlocks
wearily walking ways
where Wõden whisked
weathered wherewithal
wondering -- wistfully why --
wailing waifs wager
wadded walleted wafers
wanting wanton wands
whose waywardness
waives wakeful walls --
where warlike wardens
warn warmed-over witnesses
washing warrior's warships
Read the rest of the poem Show less
with wary wargs
wastefully watching wasted
waylaid weakened wanderers
without watchwords
wavering weasel's wealth
welcoming weighty welfare's
wearisome webs
whipping whit's whiteness
weirdest whims --
whole -- whispering whoops
willing wile's wickedest
wordy wishes --
while
Wõden weeps woefully.

About Me
I am a scruffy old guy who loves to write. After a twenty year or more hiatus, I have taken up my pen again in the realm of prose. I just finished a short novella, and that warmed me up for a novel. Cathartic writing is what I call it. I started writing poetry as a means to remain sane and hold the demons in abeyance after my Vietnam experience in the mid to late 60s. You could say that writing has saved my life; I would. Of all the ways to play, I have found word play significantly more attractive, and far less violent than other 'sports'. The billiards game called snooker comes a close second, but the trouble is, it's hard to find a table But there is usually a keyboard handy, and I have worn out several from stabbing the keys with gusto. It is indeed a pleasure to be in the midst of a lyrical community like Neopoet, so keep the hits coming~!

Victor
