Word Tree

  We are  the roots
spread far and wide
Are joined together with pride

The word, the energy
a thought, the seed
each day we grow

Into many branches
each bud creating
leaves as words

Many form to fall
onto the paper
that waits

This becomes a dictionary
made from the original
seed, the tree

Color me purple
color me green
Color we create

from the leaves
on the tree to
the flowers

Each petal the jewel
To crystallize that
magic spark

That is felt in the heart
Music created as strings
are plucked

Sap from the trees
and the flowers
the juices flow

Into pearl drops- fall
magical crystals
to perform

The way the light falls
in the sunsets
the sunrise

Light on the water
forever change
sparkling bright

The river of life
that turns into rain
creating life again

Rain feeds the seed
makes it grow into
the tree of life

That creates the words
and the paper that waits
for them to fall upon

Never ending story
The circle of life
Continues

EB I feel this still needs work. I have not been able to create for a while So this the first of the year - Inspiration from the film Avatar. I have been to see the film Avatar in 3D about six times now there is a scene where the natives become the extened roots to the tree of souls, where they all become one - this magical conection as we are here too. I will be seeing Avatar again and Again. The story line to me is good over evil. But the real connection is us. Go see it. The graphic's are amazing Electric Blue

Lyz Thank you for travelling my journey. It is hard at this time to create as the flame is just still a flicker. recent times my heart has been bright, sadly now just an ember glimmering silently waiting. The seed planted, still grows stronger, I still hang on Electric Blue, feeling blue

Lyz Thank you word now corrected. Why so blue? Blue is my state of mind my heart and soul sad a glimmer no a blinding light for my hearts delight but again switched off at a flick of a switch feeling little lost in the shadows again Blue

Oh lovely lovely image

Dear sweet dazzling Maggie, you have penned a new vocabulary of life its sweet charm like the sound of growing fronds in Spring, their sunlit stems reaching up and up to change their state in the Autumn but never disappearing there to be reborn and dance again. Lovely lovely images Maggie of the waters of life's flowing. Love from Ann of Norway.

Ann Enjoy the journey This special bond shared by us all We are the reborn seeds. telepathically we are the roots joined, so in tune we the seeds of life. The light falls onto the dew drop, that jewel gently slides down the inside or outside of the petals of a flower. Or as leaves on the tree. Falling tears in slow motion, glistening bright full of rainbow wishes Tear drops of mother nature, freely fall from our hearts. feeding the seeds The melody of nature’s orchestra so soothing, refreshed are we The tree of souls Electric Blue

This is so very beautifully penned Maggie of the silver raindrop

Oh my oh my if I was the one to awake this comment then I am indeed a magician, what say you fellow poets? This is so very beautifully penned Maggie of the silver raindrops, you have put it so specially and in its simplicity it has the complexity of the coloured patterns on the wings of a butterfly, or the underside of the beetle I saw last, its turquoise green shimmering sheen surprising me, I had never know that the black of its wings were not all over the insect, so that I jumped for joy, and the little children came running to see what one earth had made Ann do that. So too I jump for joy at your comment and compliment you on it too, thank you Maggie, thank you! Love Ann.

Beautifull written as only

Beautifull written as only you can Maggie ... lovely write ... the only thing I would consider changing or punctuating ? ... that first line is abrupt doesnt have the flow of the rest maybe ... (We, the roots) or (we are the roots) ... just a suggestion and this is your baby just for me the first line needs 'something' ya know ?? love and hugs Jayne x x x x
