they mystify
but from

true story
Poetry will not lie. And I've tried. It is a great oracle and equalizer in that way. Of course you have to be a poet to use it And you my friend are every inch that description. Skillfully done. In the mind they riot. Indeed. Thanks for Sharing.

Ok here it is
This is how writing saved my life. It changed how I approach my relationship with my wife. It made me aware of how I felt in a manor I could revisit. I became able to “edit” my thoughts and separate them into two piles. Reactive and genuine. Reactive thoughts owned me, it made relationships difficult. I realize now that I was in survival mode and I didn’t really have to be there.
You can’t lie to yourself in ink. When you read it later it you realize, “I don’t feel that way about this”. It’s a magnificent filter.
This is a treasure

Hello, Tim,
I have found it to be true - I don't truly understand how I feel about most things until I write about them.
Thank you!

Dear Lavender
This is delicious. I love this it's saying so much with so few words.
Nothing I'd change except maybe remove the *** at the end.
Really, Well done!!! I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Kind regards Jayne

Hello, Jayne,
Thank you so much for reading and commenting. I am very grateful. I've used the *** at the end of my poems for awhile - not certain exactly how / why it started. I can see that they might distract. Thank you for sharing!

Sweet Lavender
You know I am a big fan of bravity and this really satisfied my morning.
I especially like:
in the mind
they riot
They sure do until they find their way to pens and papers.
Always appreciate sharing your words dear.

Hello, Lovedly!
These are not ellipses. They are asterisks. I looked at my poetry history and I've been using them at the end of my poems for more than two years now. I believe it started more as a visual / mental stop for me - letting me know the poem felt finished. I believe I randomly chose the three asterisks. Not certain. Interesting, and I thank you!
