What can write this anger,
no words to seal this angst.
Tomorrow if I’m to feel this,
who am I against.

The dinner table’s set,
surely the anger’s mine.
How many egos feed,
then sup at a rich wine.

Caress my spun head,
tear free working word.
Freely call the enemy to field,
show now a true worth.

Give hating heart direction,
to cam disordered mind.
Write utterance of affection,
script the peace I find.

Place down the daggered pen,
result is not foregone.
Crawl now to quiet cave,
clean sheets lay words upon.

Review Request (Intensity):
I want the raw truth, feel free to knock me on my back
Last few words:
It's in there and just has to come out....

Place down the daggered pen,

Crawl now to quiet cave,
clean sheets lay words upon.

I do so love these lines! When I'm angry I wish I could lay down my angry pen, but I'm afraid I allow my self to be consumed by my ire. I'm not content until I give leave to my pen to put all my rage upon the page.
I wouldn't change a word of this write!

always, Cat

No one of these words is meant, cam as an engineering term means to calm. And when i was writing this i had a picture of a machine coming apart, when this happens you don't want to be around it. That is probably why the retreat to the quiet cave. But yes forgone is wrong, it should have been foregone.Thank you for your kind words and help. Love Roscoe...
