Just to clarify. I am me, that is I am writing this as one of the last Biological Units still doing creative writing. In as much as technological advances are way beyond what was imaginable as a child of the 60’s I remain committed to humanity in all its expressions.
In short I am a Biological (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) Unit in my own right.

I do not consider this as poetry! It just a normal personal statements.

"By virtue of creativity, my literary genre is poetry".

You are welcome.

“We turn to poetry when other language is inadequate.” It is far from ‘just a personal statement.’ I assume you didn’t intend to adopt such a dismissive stance with that statement. Contrary to being such, the piece serves as an allert, an early warning of impending change, and note change for the good of writers. Indeed anyone engaged at any level in the Arts,

Revisit the piece but this time think thus. AI seeks to provide material through mimicking original expressive language. The poem is saying I am alive. a human and am expressing my stream of consciousness. All any Algorithm can achieve is retrieval of data and present it as a valid work. Conversational Algorithm technology is the nub of the problem this poem seeks to allert the reader too.

It is that simple,

Finally.
You comment on time is bewildering. Time is either mechanically measured or emotionally experienced. There is no now. The present is merely the past consuming the future. In reality perception and time are all a matter of scale. Quantum Mechanics aids understanding but caution is advised.

You have an interesting way of expression. Would you consider the theory that the perpetual decline of human interest in true art was the opportunity for AI to take a foothold in the arts?

Would you also consider that in introducing the phenomena, you are also contributing to and supporting the decline in true human art?

And if we went a step further, would you consider that the success of AI in poetry might have begun with free verse or was it the accepted absence of a standard altogether?

Could another be the fact that publishers merely publish undeveloped art to generate an idea that if you write this way, and share us money, you can also be famous and "rich"? And once AI takes over, there will be no need to pay anyone, so more profit for them?

Although I will pursue improving my poetry until I realize I'm losing it, I can't help but believe that AI will be teaching our children how to write, paint, think and entertain in near generations.

I look forward to AI in some sense, that it might serve to usher in the next generations of artists and rid humanity of a degree of egoism.

On the point of criticism, your argument on time is flawed in it's precision. Science cannot afford to be so poetic.

As far as the stream post goes, it does absolutely nothing for me other than create hostility.

...so like my lost dreams...the flood

Hi Thomas.
Thanks for the lines of feedback,
I’m unimpressed, unimpressed with this software. I have researched you views and felt ready to respond. I wrote directly to this site and lost all of my responses.

I felt you deserved acknowledgment so firstly I decided to follow you so that I might get a better impression of your work.

I will write off line and post a dialogue soon.

Chris.
