AFTER YOU

After youand the knowing of youthere will be no more.No music, or sweat inducing sunshine, Blue notes on Sundays only for jazz lovers andhedonists heady on wine.Abhorting this journey, disembarking from the train.- without you there can be no destination

my heart derailed. There is no other view from here -only dark clouds and rain.  There will be no dawn at sunrise.only a treacherous edging downthis mountain so perilous, there can be no turning round.Still,I the discarded libertine,Job's concubine, cannot stop looking back to see if your hand is there reaching out for mine..." BjR 2 April, '10

Wonderful wonderful poem,

Wonderful wonderful poem, Boni; I have to agree with JC, one of your very best. At first glance I wanted the last word to be *mine*... ~A "Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." ~ A Course In Miracles

Powerful poem Bonni.

Ann of Norway Powerful poem Bonni. How dark all seems as we walk away, and yet there is as always hope, it never fades away when it has been kindled as strongly as this. Love Ann.

THank you one and all above

for your kind comments. I am honoured and amazed that such an honest outpouring could have touched you all! It is dedicated to one special person and perhaps it's that sincerity that shines through. Ironically, he has seen it, but will neither comment or even acknowledge any of my work! Thank you for being there - what it is to have an audience!! Bonita j

You're half way there with this one Indi.

She was indeed his wife, but the story goes that she was told not to look back when they left Soddom & Gommorah. She did and turned into a pillar of salt. So although he went on to be blessed she sure as hell didn't! Hope that contextualizes it a bit better for you! Thanks for stopping by to comment! Boni
