AUTUMN`S FALL

You belong to the beauty of the mist
as it rises from the crystal lake
The autumn leaves as they parade
the ending of a season as they twirl
in their escape.

We rejoice as the unrelenting winds
advance and sweep away.

I peer upwards through
the unfolding heaven`s

The pale moon expires its unyielding
presence, the advancing elements
blend in a humorous manner
Replenishing this exhausted earth
once again.

You have been busy with your descriptive topics of late. Yet again a perfect painting of layered washes concluding in another beautiful landscape masterpiece. Hey! typo alert! - in there escape - in THEIR escape? Really liked the conclusive line: "Replenishing this exhausted earth once again." Nice work, HS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "With all that I am and all that I could be, I walk this earth and yet nobody sees me".

autumn leaves parade

I adore poems that end with once again or once more, it leaves so much room to dream, right? this is probably the warmest autumn poem I have ever read which is probably because it was bounced off of your warm personality the images it evokes are beautiful, I epecially like the transition from the first to the second stanza. you do it with melody and grace. is the spacing in front of the I in the third stanza intentional? if not then could you change it? (I'm a photographer and details like that just kill me ;) your Proprietress
