Streets of London
in the early morn
dimly lit with an
iridescent glow
So sad so alone
The river Thames
meanders gently on
sad and grey lit by
the reflection of the
pale moon rising
Streets wet shiny and new
liquid silver and golden hue
shimmer silently as the
river Thames flows on
